Beaumaris Secondary College

In 2019 the newly built synthetic pitch at Beaumaris Secondary College became home to many teams for Beaumaris Soccer Club, shifting away from their regular home at Beaumaris Reserve. Now let's look at the venue itself.

The pitch is superb, not sure how it feels to play on but does feel better than some out there. The change rooms are also very good, plenty of space etc. Now for the bad parts, for spectators and considering that in 2019 Beaurmais top men's senior team plays in the FV State League 1 it is not idle at all. Not built for cantering for spectators with very limited seating placed at the north west corner which is just not good enough and that too is behind a huge fence, prison football. In fact they have bushes growing on the half way mark next to the fence-line so that too will block out some viewing areas. Parking bays is limited so you may need to park on the street on busy days.

No canteen which meant the club had a food truck on site for the match I attended. It is a shame that this seems to be a missed opportunity to create a high quality venue but really it best caters for social teams or practice matches.Talk was that some teams will move back to Beaumaris Reserve in 2019.
