Korumburra Recreational Reserve

Soccer/Football has only been introduced to Korumburra recently with this city and surrounding region mostly having ovals that are part of the culture of Aussie Rules Football and Cricket. This venue is a bit of a gem. With undercover seating, a large function room and a changerooms extension this venue is a great set-up for the home club Korumburra City. The tricky part of soccer in this area is that they need to shorten the width of the pitch drastically but that seems to add to the action as was the case when I visited. Parking spots are limited around the clubrooms but like most ovals, people can park around the fence line and watch from the car.

Pettys Reserve 2021 Update

Works on a big new football complex are well underway at Pettys Reserve in Templestowe. The area will contain two full-size synthetic pitches with a pavilion separating the two in the middle. From what I hear Manningham United Blues may soon call Pettys Reserve home.

Newhaven Reserve - 2022 Drone Images

Newhaven Reserve is just past the bridge between San Remo and Newhaven that leads into Phillip Island. The venue is used for soccer and cricket with two narrow pitches available for the Gippsland Soccer League club Phillip Island Breakers. New changes rooms were almost completed when these images were taken.
